The West Michigan Sports Commission (WMSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2007 that identifies, secures and hosts youth and amateur sporting events to drive economic development and improve quality of life in the Grand Rapids region. In addition to event attraction and management, the organization operates the Meijer Sports Complex and the Meijer State Games of Michigan and works with community partners to expand adaptive and youth sport opportunities across West Michigan.
