About International Student Foundation (ISF)
International Student Foundation (ISF) is a Dallas-based 501(c)(3) public charity that delivers scholarships, individualized mentoring, and leadership-development experiences for youth who have aged out of foster care or who are orphaned. ISF’s model combines financial support with one-to-one mentors and an annual leadership conference to help scholars persist in and complete postsecondary training. In recent years ISF has expanded program activity and fundraising to support a growing cohort of scholars: it reports selecting and supporting a recent cohort of roughly 67 foster-care-impacted students and states that more than 85–90% of ISF-supported students complete a degree. The organization maintains an active public fundraising and events calendar (including its annual gala) and has established a Texas chapter to scale regional services.
