About HONOLULU ZOOLOGICAL SOCIETY

Honolulu Zoological Society (HZS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit partner organization that operates exclusively for the benefit of the Honolulu Zoo. The Society raises funds, manages membership and volunteer programs, and supports the Zoo’s education, animal care and conservation initiatives.

HZS runs public-facing education and engagement programs — including Zoo Camp, Twilight Tours, outreach (Zoo-to-You) and symbolic adoptions — and directs philanthropic support and grants to the Zoo and related conservation partners.
