About Golden Civic Foundation
Founded in 1970 and organized as a 501(c)(3), the Golden Civic Foundation (GCF) acts as a community foundation and local grantmaker focused on preserving and strengthening Golden, Colorado’s character and quality of life.
GCF mobilizes philanthropic resources, issues community grants, provides small business loans, and invests in civic projects and public art; since its founding it has invested millions back into the Golden community.
In recent years GCF has continued annual grant rounds (Community Impact Grants and Helping Hand Grants), maintained small business loan activity, and supported community events and public programming to sustain local economic and cultural vitality.
