About Orange Park Community Theatre, Inc.

Orange Park Community Theatre (OPCT) is a volunteer-driven, donor-facing community theatre organization based in Orange Park, Florida. Founded in May 1969, OPCT produces seasonal mainstage productions, youth and teen workshops, benefit performances for local organizations, and offers scholarships and training to develop local performing-arts talent. OPCT operates from a long-established facility in Orange Park (its current home since 1987) and maintains public nonprofit filings and season schedules on its website. In the last two to three years the theatre has continued regular seasonal programming, run youth workshops and summer/teen productions, and offered benefit show opportunities and scholarships to support community organizations and arts education.

Founded in 1969

Established in May 1969 by the Orange Park Women’s Club, OPCT has served Clay County and the surrounding region as a community theater for more than five decades.

Permanent facility (since 1987)

Secured and moved into a donated chapel facility in April 1987, creating a stable home venue that has supported continuous local productions and community programming ever since.

Sustained seasonal programming & education

Maintains multi-show mainstage seasons and recurring educational offerings (workshops, teen camps and scholarships); recent seasons and workshop schedules through 2025–2026 and planning for the 2026–2027 season demonstrate ongoing, active production and youth-engagement efforts.
