About TEXAS NATIVE HEALTH

Texas Native Health is an Urban Indian Organization and community health provider in Dallas that delivers culturally centered, integrated services including medical care, dental, in‑house pharmacy, behavioral health, diabetes management, workforce programs and community services. The organization operates a Cultural Center (C3) and runs education, prevention and workforce pathways designed specifically for Native American and Indigenous community members in the Dallas–Fort Worth region.

In recent years Texas Native Health has expanded programmatic capacity through federal grants and local partnerships to scale behavioral‑health/crisis services, diabetes prevention and public health resilience work. The organization also hosts community events, cultural programming, and partnerships with local funders and corporate partners to increase access to care and culturally relevant supports for Indigenous people in North Texas.

Secured multi‑year federal support

Between 2024 and 2026 Texas Native Health obtained multi‑year federal awards from agencies including the Indian Health Service (IHS) and SAMHSA to expand behavioral health/crisis (988/Native Connections), diabetes prevention (SDPI), opioid intervention pilot work, and public health resilience programs.

Integrated primary care model with cultural services

Built an integrated primary‑care model offering medical, dental, pharmacy and behavioral health services alongside cultural programming and the Cultural Center (C3) to provide culturally appropriate care and community supports for Indigenous clients.

Local partnerships and program growth

Expanded community programming and funding relationships with local foundations, corporate partners and research organizations to support workforce programs, clinical research site development, connected learning and direct services for the Native community.
