About ANNEX TEEN CLINIC

The Annex Teen Clinic is a community-based sexual and reproductive health clinic founded in 1971 and based in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. It provides low- or no-cost, confidential clinical services (contraception, STI testing and treatment, PrEP, pregnancy services, preventive care) and sexuality education for young people through age 25 in Northwest Hennepin County and North Minneapolis.

The organization emphasizes equity, anti-racism, cultural specificity, and LGBTQ+ inclusion, and maintains a no-turn-away policy to ensure affordability and access. In recent years the Annex has published audited financials and annual reports, adopted an updated strategic plan and mission, and secured multi-year philanthropic support to expand services and outreach.

Longstanding service since 1971

Founded in 1971, the Annex is one of the region’s longest-running adolescent sexual health providers and has maintained continuous, donor-facing clinical and education services for decades.

Organizational growth and strategic update

Board-adopted strategic planning and a refreshed mission/vision (completed in the 2022–2024 period) guided expanded outreach, youth-facing education, and stronger equity-centered programming.
