CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY ACTION

Christian Community Action (CCA) is a Lewisville, Texas–based 501(c)(3) community services organization founded in 1973 that provides a mix of emergency relief and long-term restoration services to families, children, and senior adults facing poverty. CCA operates a food market and seasonal programs (Kids Eat Free summer meals, Back-to-School, Christmas Cheer), offers emergency financial assistance to prevent homelessness, and provides education and workforce-readiness classes, spiritual care, and senior services. CCA serves thousands of people each year across Denton County and the surrounding area, combining rescue (immediate needs), relief (short-term stabilization) and restoration (life skills, job-readiness and education) to help clients move toward self-sufficiency.
