About POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUE OF JACKSONVILLE INC

The Police Athletic League of Jacksonville (JaxPAL) is a 501(c)(3) youth-serving nonprofit founded in 1972 that runs athletic, educational, outreach, and teen leadership programs across multiple Jacksonville-area campuses. JaxPAL’s model pairs law enforcement volunteers with children ages 5–18 to build mentoring relationships, provide structured afterschool and summer activities, and offer early intervention services in neighborhoods with elevated risk factors. In the past 2–3 years JaxPAL has maintained active seasonal sports and education programming (updated parent/coach handbooks and season schedules for 2023–2024 and 2024 programs), announced leadership updates at the executive level, and continued community partnerships to support equipment, camps, and local events while serving thousands of youth annually.
