About SUZUKI INSTITUTE OF DALLAS

Suzuki Institute of Dallas (also operating as the Suzuki Music Institute of Dallas) is a long-established 501(c)(3) performing-arts school in Dallas that provides Suzuki-method music instruction for children and adults, including private lessons, group classes, musicianship/theory, masterclasses and community performances. The Institute was founded in 1968 to deliver the Talent Education (Suzuki) philosophy and continues to operate a full school with a trained faculty and an active student calendar. Leadership includes Executive Director Dr. Rhea Edelman and a roster of resident faculty who teach strings, piano, harp, composition and musicianship. In recent years the organization has remained an active, donor-facing nonprofit: it files annual Form 990 returns, runs a scholarship program to expand access, and maintains a public event and academic calendar (including masterclasses, recitals and outreach concerts).
