About AMERICAN SEPHARDI FEDERATION
The American Sephardi Federation (ASF) is a long-established, donor-facing 501(c)(3) cultural and educational nonprofit based in New York that preserves and promotes Sephardic history, traditions, scholarship, and arts. It is an active partner and housed member organization within New York’s Center for Jewish History and runs national and international programs including exhibitions, publications, fellowships, and cultural festivals. In recent years ASF has expanded its global programming and partnerships — notably as the U.S. partner of Morocco’s Mimouna Association on the multi-year Rebuilding Our Homes initiative, and through the national Sephardi House campus fellowship and the New York Sephardic Jewish Film Festival. ASF regularly convenes scholarly conferences, community events, and intercultural dialogues, and remains active in diplomatic and public-facing work to document and celebrate Sephardic heritage.
