Crested Butte Mountain Theatre is a long-standing community theatre organization founded in 1972 and recognized as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It identifies itself as the oldest continuously running community theatre in Colorado and centers its work on volunteer participation, local storytelling, and arts education.
