About WOMENS CENTER OF JACKSONVILLE INC

The Women’s Center of Jacksonville (WCJ) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1995 that provides trauma-informed mental health care, advocacy, prevention education and wrap‑around support for women and survivors of sexual violence across Northeast Florida. WCJ operates a 24/7 rape crisis hotline and the S.A.F.E. (Sexual Assault Forensic Exam) program, offering no-cost forensic exams, victim advocacy, court accompaniment and free counseling for survivors and co-survivors age 12+.

WCJ serves Duval, Nassau and Baker counties through primary locations and satellite offices, delivers community education and resiliency programming, and maintains donor-facing fundraising and volunteer channels to sustain free services. In recent years the organization has expanded its forensic exam capacity, secured significant public/private funding to grow services, and received regional recognition for its integrated, trauma-informed S.A.F.E. model.
