NAVARASA DANCE THEATER INC

Navarasa Dance Theater is a Los Angeles–based South Asian contemporary and classical dance-theater company and school led by Artistic Director Dr. Aparna Sindhoor with co-director Anil Natyaveda. The company produces original multidisciplinary performance works that blend Mysore-style Bharatanatyam, Kalari martial arts, yoga, folk forms, live music and theatre to explore identity, social justice, and lived experience. Navarasa operates both as a touring performance company and as a community-facing school that offers classes, workshops, residencies, and outreach programs. Its “Dance For Everyone” initiative provides free or heavily subsidized dance and martial-arts training in the U.S. and India, serving large cohorts of students from under-resourced communities. The organization maintains active nonprofit status, files annual Form 990 returns, and continues to present performances and community programming in Los Angeles and other venues, while collaborating with regional festivals, cultural institutions and independent artists.
