About COLORADO GOLD SPEEDSKATING CLUB
Colorado Gold Speedskating Club (originally Broadmoor Speedskating Club) is a community-based nonprofit speedskating club that provides regular on-ice training, dryland conditioning, and beginner-to-competitive coaching at Olympic-size rinks in Colorado. The club offers drop-in sessions, season memberships, skate rental, and progressive instruction for skaters with basic ice skills.
The organization is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity and focuses on both athlete development (short track and long track) and growing local participation through events, annual competitions, and outreach. In the last 2–3 years (2023–2025) the club has run fundraising drives to support ice time and travel, hosted seasonal competitions, and seen coaches and junior skaters earn regional and national-level recognition.
