THE ARLINGTON TOMORROW FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO PROGRAMS THAT MAKE ARLINGTON, TEXAS AN EXEMPLARY ENVIRONMENT TO LIVE, LEARN, WORK AND PLAY.
About ARLINGTON TOMORROW FOUNDATION
Arlington Tomorrow Foundation is a city-created public charitable endowment established to convert City of Arlington mineral/gas royalties and investment earnings into long-term grantmaking that benefits Arlington residents, city departments and local nonprofits. The foundation makes program and capital grants to projects that improve quality of life, support arts and culture, strengthen education and human services, and enhance public spaces. Since its creation in 2007 the foundation has distributed sustained grant support across the city and in recent years increased both the scale and scope of awarding: FY2024 grantmaking totaled approximately $1.7 million, FY2025 grantmaking grew to roughly $4.8 million, and the foundation continued active granting in 2026. In 2025–2026 the foundation also launched an Impact Learning Series and provided targeted capital and program grants to support nonprofits serving children, seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income residents.

Nonprofit capacity-building and community initiative
In 2025–2026 the foundation launched the Impact Learning Series to deliver free trainings and strengthen local nonprofit capacity, and it has funded recurring city and community initiatives including North Texas Giving Day bonuses and targeted program grants addressing food insecurity, veteran events, school supports and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
