About FRIENDS OF ECOLE POLYTECHNIQUE INC

Friends of Ecole Polytechnique Inc (FEP) is the U.S.-based, donor-facing sister organization of the Fondation de l’École polytechnique; it was created to channel American gifts and grants in support of École Polytechnique’s scholarships, research chairs, visiting professors and entrepreneurship programs. The organization is recognized by the IRS as a public charity (501(c)(3)) and is administered by a Board of Directors composed largely of alumni and supporters of École Polytechnique.

In recent years FEP has been active in grantmaking that supports the school’s internationalization and entrepreneurial ecosystem (including joint funding of the X-Grant Silicon Valley awards) and has worked with the Fondation de l’École polytechnique on endowed chairs and scholarship programs. The organization reports regular Form 990 filings and maintains a donor-facing presence through the École Polytechnique Foundation’s international pages and designated U.S. donation channels.
