NOT ANOTHER CHILD INCORPORATED

Not Another Child, Inc. (NAC) is a New York–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2006 by Oresa Napper-Williams after the loss of her son to gun violence. The organization runs trauma-informed support and prevention programs focused on families and youth in communities of color, including peer-support, individual therapy, mentorship, sports-based outreach, retreats for bereaved families, and community events. In recent years NAC has expanded its program portfolio and public partnerships, delivered sustained direct services to survivors of violence, participated in research and city-level violence-intervention initiatives, and received municipal grant funding to support survivor services and youth programming. The organization maintains an active public presence through media appearances, community events, and ongoing fundraising to underwrite program operations.
