SOCIETY OF ASIAN SCIENTISTS AND ENGINEERS

The Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 2007 and based in Denver, CO, that advances Asian-heritage scientists and engineers in education and employment. SASE operates a large network of collegiate and professional chapters and programs focused on leadership development, career pipelines, scholarships, industry partnerships and recognition of technical and service achievements. In the past 2–3 years SASE has expanded programming and events including its National Convention and career fair, launched targeted conferences such as the inaugural Asian Women in Tech (AWiT) event, and continued its annual scholarship and awards programs. For fiscal year 2024 the organization reported multi‑million dollar revenues and continued majority program spending (reported program-expense ratio ~77%), reflecting sustained event, scholarship and member services activity.
