FARMINGTON YOUTH LACROSSE ASSOCIATION

The Farmington Youth Lacrosse Association (FYLA) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit youth sports association based in Farmington, Minnesota that organizes clinics, league teams, and tournaments for boys and girls. It fields programs across introductory and competitive age groups (including 6U clinics and 8U–14U teams) and coordinates seasonal play in regional youth lacrosse leagues. Founded in 2020, FYLA operates year-round programming (spring and summer seasons) and partners with local organizations and the Farmington parks system to secure practice and game fields. The association runs fundraising and sponsorship programs, offers financial-aid/scholarship assistance to families, and maintains a volunteer board to manage operations. In the last 2–3 years FYLA has run multiple community fundraisers and sponsorship drives, hosted regional events (including its GOAT tournament and league match play), and expanded participant recruitment and team offerings; local listings and program materials indicate the association supports on the order of a few hundred youth participants in recent seasons.
