To provide ongoing performance opportunities for community musicians, to serve the community through a wide variety of band and ensemble music at concerts and community events, and to encourage and assist young musicians in developing and pursuing a love of performance music.
About Thornton Community Band
Thornton Community Band (TCB) is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) community symphonic band serving Thornton and the greater North Denver area. The group presents formal fall, winter and spring concerts and performs at community events such as Fourth of July celebrations, Winterfest and outdoor summer concert series.
Founded in the late 2000s and operating under EIN 26-1884982, TCB emphasizes artistry, entertainment and education across its concert programming and community outreach. In addition to full-band concerts, the organization runs smaller ensembles (e.g., Chamber Winds, Big Band) and youth-facing programs to support musical development.
