About Clothes To Kids of Denver, Inc.
Clothes To Kids of Denver (CTKD) is a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit that operates a boutique-style store providing free school clothing and basics to students ages 3–21 who live in the 11-county Denver metro area and are experiencing economic hardship or crisis.
CTKD runs year‑round shopping by appointment (with curbside pickup available), accepts community clothing and shoe donations, and partners with schools, agencies and volunteers to help students feel confident and ready to learn.
Notable achievements
High-volume wardrobe distribution (2024)
In 2024 CTKD distributed nearly 14,000 complete wardrobes and tens of thousands of additional clothing items, reflecting substantial year-over-year program growth.
Long-term impact milestone
Since opening in 2008 CTKD has provided well over one hundred thousand wardrobes to students in need, cumulatively distributing more than a million individual pieces of clothing and shoes.
Successful large-scale fundraising
Annual fundraising events and community campaigns have raised significant operating funds in recent years (including a highly successful Blue Jean Bash), enabling expanded staffing and service capacity.
