About RAWDANCE

RAWDance is an award-winning, donor-facing contemporary dance company founded in San Francisco and operating bicoastally (San Francisco and the Hudson Valley). The organization creates, curates, and presents original movement-driven work in theaters and public spaces, and runs programs that include performance, teaching, residencies, and artist fellowships.

The EIN 26-2249457 has been confirmed via the organization’s public materials and nonprofit filings. In the last 2–3 years RAWdance has continued active programming and commissioning (including its 20th Anniversary season in 2024), operated the biannual CONCEPT salon series, supported cohorts of Radiate Fellows, and received recent peer recognition for sustained achievement and choreography.

RAWDance also maintains an ongoing commitment to access and community engagement—presenting site-specific work in parks, galleries, and civic spaces, curating ChoreoFest for Yerba Buena Gardens Festival, and offering residencies and teaching partnerships with regional institutions.
