About ROCKY MOUNTAIN MICROFINANCE INSTITUTE
Rocky Mountain MicroFinance Institute (RMMFI) is a registered 501(c)(3) and a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that supports entrepreneurs across Colorado with cohort-based classes, one-on-one coaching, mentorship, and accessible capital.
Since 2008 RMMFI has run multiple program tracks (idea, launch, and growth), operated statewide (urban and rural), and reported recent impact including hundreds of cohorts, roughly $1.7M in microloans, and nearly two thousand entrepreneurs served.

Bank of America Neighborhood Builders (2023)
Selected as a 2023 Neighborhood Builders winner, receiving leadership development and a multi-year grant award to strengthen organizational capacity and leadership.
Collaboration Catalyst Award (2024)
Received the 2024 Collaboration Catalyst Award recognizing partnerships and collaborative impact within Colorado's small-business ecosystem.
CDFI certification & loan impact
Certified as a Community Development Financial Institution and, in recent years, reported lending roughly $1.7M across more than 500 microloans while also deploying grant support to entrepreneurs.
