About MINNESOTA CHAPTER OF THE NATIONAL CHILDRENS ALLIANCE
The Minnesota Children’s Alliance (also known as the Minnesota Chapter of the National Children’s Alliance) is Minnesota’s statewide leader that develops and supports Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs) and Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs) to ensure child-focused, coordinated responses to child abuse. The Alliance provides training, technical assistance, accreditation support, public policy advocacy, and capacity-building resources. It works with CACs across Minnesota (the Alliance reports working with 13 CACs) and supports a network that serves more than 3,000 children and families each year.

Accredited state chapter
Serves as an accredited state chapter of the National Children’s Alliance, leading CAC accreditation support and promoting national standards of trauma-informed, multidisciplinary care across Minnesota.
Secured critical state funding (2025)
Played an active advocacy role in securing critical victim services funding at the Minnesota Capitol during the 2025 legislative process, helping sustain local CAC services and statewide supports.
Workforce development & scholarships
Runs a regular calendar of professional trainings (forensic interviewing, trauma-informed care, multidisciplinary team development) and offers forensic interview registration scholarships to build local capacity and improve access to skilled services.
