About ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHILDRENS HEALTH FOUNDATION
Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation (RMCHF) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides financial, nutritional, and emotional support to newborns, pediatric patients, and their families. Its core programs include a large nonprofit Mothers’ Milk Bank, Patient & Family Assistance (financial relief, basic needs, bereavement support), the Stink Bug Project (companion dog adoptions for ill children), and PAWS for RMC (facility dogs serving Rocky Mountain Children’s Hospital). Record milk donations (2025)
In 2025 Mothers’ Milk Bank received one million ounces of donated human milk in a single year and distributed hundreds of thousands of ounces to NICUs and outpatient families (over 758,000 ounces distributed in 2025 alone).
Stink Bug Project scale
Since inception the Stink Bug Project has matched well over 170 companion dogs with children facing serious medical conditions, surpassing 180 matches by 2025 and adding multiple new matches in that year.
Direct family support
In 2025 RMCHF provided Patient & Family Assistance to thousands of families (2,486 families received critical financial support in 2025), covering needs such as housing, food, and transportation during a child’s medical care.
