MUSANA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION

Musana Community Development Organization is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) that supports and scales a network of community-owned schools, health centers, and social enterprises in Uganda to drive long-term self-reliance. Rooted in a faith-driven approach, Musana focuses on building locally sustained income-generating enterprises that fund affordable education and healthcare while creating jobs and skills training. The organization provides scholarships, operates K–12 and vocational schools, runs community health centers and outreach, and develops businesses (hotels, restaurants, crafts, etc.) designed to cover costs and reinvest profits into the most vulnerable. Musana publishes annual impact reports and files Form 990s; recent reporting shows rapid growth in enterprise-generated local income, student scholarships, job creation, and patient visits.
