THE AUTISM SOCIETY OF HAWAII
To improve the lives of all affected by autism by connecting people to resources through education, advocacy, information & referral, and community programming so individuals and families can access evidence-based services and reach their highest potential.
About THE AUTISM SOCIETY OF HAWAII
Since 1992, the Autism Society of Hawaii (ASH) has served children, adults, and families across the Hawaiian Islands by providing education, community programming, advocacy, and information and referral. The organization emphasizes local, island-wide service delivery and keeps funds raised in Hawai‘i to support statewide programs. ASH operates a range of donor-facing activities — signature fundraising events, sensory-friendly community programs, a statewide meet-up calendar, and a recommended resource/helpline — and is governed by a volunteer board with a small professional staff led by an Executive Director. In recent years ASH has expanded island-based events (Oʻahu, Maui, Big Island) and regular sensory-friendly offerings to increase community inclusion and access to supports.
