About Global Down Syndrome Foundation
Founded in 2009, Global Down Syndrome Foundation (GLOBAL) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 26-4431001) dedicated to advancing research, clinical care, education and public policy to extend life and improve health outcomes for people with Down syndrome.
GLOBAL partners with affiliated clinical and research centers to fund and accelerate scientific discovery, publish clinical guidance and support community programs; in recent years the organization has invested millions in research and local programs and continued to run high-profile annual fundraising and awareness events.

Raised and donated tens of millions of dollars to establish and support the first dedicated Down syndrome research institute and affiliated research programs, enabling hundreds of researchers and thousands of patients to participate in studies.

Produces the annual Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show—the organization’s marquee fundraiser—which has raised multi‑million dollar proceeds in recent years to support research and clinical care.
