About Grace Neighborhood Nursery School

Grace Neighborhood Nursery School (GNNS) is a play-based, nonprofit preschool in Minneapolis that has served local children and families since 1961 and has operated as an independent 501(c)(3) organization since 2009. The school emphasizes a play-based, emergent curriculum delivered by experienced early childhood teachers and is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services to serve children from roughly 33 months to kindergarten age. In recent years GNNS has maintained active operations, continued its scholarship program to increase access for lower-income families, and filed nonprofit tax returns for the fiscal year ending August 2024.
