AMERICAN INDIAN CANCER FOUNDATION
To eliminate the cancer burdens of Indigenous people through improved access to prevention, early detection, treatment, and survivor support.
About AMERICAN INDIAN CANCER FOUNDATION
The American Indian Cancer Foundation (AICAF) is a Native-led national 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, founded to address cancer inequities affecting American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities. AICAF builds culturally tailored programs across the cancer continuum—prevention, screening, treatment access, survivorship, research, and policy—working with tribal, clinical, and public-health partners. In recent years AICAF has expanded its resource library, hosted webinars and community events, supported community-based research, and launched initiatives to improve access to specialty care and clinical trials tailored for Indigenous people. The organization uses community-based participatory approaches and culturally grounded materials to increase screening, support survivors, and strengthen local tribal health capacity.
