About RANDY SHAVER CANCER RESEARCH AND COMMUNITY FUND

The Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund (RSCRCF) is a Minnesota-based 501(c)(3) foundation that raises and directs charitable gifts to cancer research and patient-support programs across the state. The organization grew out of the Celebrity Golf Classic (first held in 1995) and was formally established as a fund in 2003 to ensure tournament and fundraising proceeds were dedicated to local cancer-related projects. RSCRCF focuses on grantmaking for cancer research and direct patient aid, partnering with local programs and community fundraising initiatives (for example TakeDown Cancer and other school- and team-driven campaigns). The fund has an active operating profile (regular Form 990 filings through 2025) and is led by an experienced volunteer board and staff, with Roseann Giovanatto Shaver serving in an executive leadership role.
