About MAZIES MISSION

Mazie’s Mission is a donor-facing 501(c)(3) nonprofit veterinary hospital that works exclusively with animal shelters, rescue groups, first responders and military programs in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Founded by Dr. Erin Shults, the organization was created to give homeless and neglected animals access to comprehensive, affordable veterinary care and forensic support so rescues can save more lives.

The organization operates a full-service clinic and specialized programs (including a low-cost heartworm treatment program, a First Responders/Military program, rescue partner services, and a forensic veterinary medicine capability) and has published audited financials and Form 990 filings for recent years. In recent years Mazie’s Mission completed a facility expansion and continued to scale program service revenue, reflecting growing demand from rescue partners and shelters.
