Holy Cross Education Foundation
The mission of Holy Cross Education Foundation is to provide funding and administrative assistance to primary schools that strive to provide the highest-quality primary education to children in disadvantaged areas of developing countries.
About Holy Cross Education Foundation
Holy Cross Education Foundation is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raises funds and provides administrative support for primary education projects in developing countries, with primary current support directed to Holy Cross Anglican Primary School on Ambergris Caye (San Pedro), Belize. The Foundation exists to cover expenses not provided by the local Ministry of Education, including building construction and maintenance, utilities, non-teaching staff, classroom furnishings and supplies, library and computer resources, and a student feeding program.
The Foundation’s work is volunteer-driven and donor-funded; it supports a tuition-free model at Holy Cross Anglican School, which was founded in 2006 and today serves roughly 400+ students from preschool through Standard 6 (8th grade). In the last 2–3 years the Foundation has documented a return to in-person schooling after pandemic disruptions, launched vocational training collaborations (notably a culinary training initiative beginning in 2024), and continued projects aimed at long-term sustainability for the school (renewable-energy and infrastructure efforts).
