About ALIADOS USA
ALIADOS USA is the U.S. affiliate of Fundación Aliados (Ecuador) that supports regenerative agriculture, rural enterprise, and market access for smallholder and indigenous farmers. The organization funds and partners with community groups, businesses, and research partners to strengthen local bio-economies and sustainable sourcing.
ALIADOS operates as a donor-facing 501(c)(3) with a Brooklyn, NY mailing presence while directing most program work in Ecuador and the Amazon region. In recent years the organization has launched farmer-training and research networks, co-designed regional bioeconomy initiatives, and engaged technical partners and funders to scale regenerative practices and enterprise opportunities for rural families.

Farmer Research Network (FRN) launched
In 2022 ALIADOS launched a rural Farmer Research Network with funding from the McKnight Foundation, engaging campesino and indigenous communities in co‑research and farmer‑led trials to spread regenerative practices and adaptive solutions.
Annual Report and program scaling (2022)
ALIADOS published a 2022 annual report documenting expanded program investments in regenerative agriculture, bioeconomy incubation, and responsible market linkages, and reporting consolidated financials and program expenditures that guided subsequent project growth.
Applied research case study with MIT D‑Lab
ALIADOS’ work on goldenberry production and regenerative practices was the subject of an MIT D‑Lab case study that documents rapid farmer-led innovation to control a crop disease, improve soil health, diversify production, and restore incomes.
