About AFRICAN COMMUNITY SENIOR SERVICES
African Community Senior Services (ACSS) is a Minneapolis-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that serves older adults, immigrants, refugees, and other underserved community members in the Twin Cities. The organization focuses on culturally-informed services that improve access to health coverage, transportation, tax assistance, and other community supports. ACSS operates year-round as a MNsure navigator and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site, and it delivers community-based transportation and case navigation for seniors and people with disabilities. In recent years the organization has expanded through foundation and state grant support to scale enrollment outreach, insurance renewal assistance, and transportation services for older adults in Minneapolis and surrounding counties. ACSS maintains an active web presence and public nonprofit filings (Form 990) that document grants, revenues, and program activity, confirming it is a current, donor-facing nonprofit organization operating in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
