WOMEN IN GAMES INTERNATIONAL

Women in Games International (WIGI) is a Los Angeles–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (Tax ID 27-0903040) founded in 2005 that works to advance economic equality and diversity across the video game, tabletop, and esports industries. The organization provides mentorship, professional development, conference access, and advocacy to normalize and increase representation of women, femme-identifying, and nonbinary professionals. WIGI runs an array of recurring programs — including Get in the Game (conference scholarships + mentorship), a structured Mentorship Program, Stat Boost, Power Leveling, Speaker Sessions and other training events — and maintains a firm “No Woman, No Panel” policy to improve gender balance at industry events. The organization reports broad reach and scale through free and low-cost programming; its fundraising and programs support tens of thousands of participants globally. In the last several years WIGI has expanded cohorts and programming at major industry conferences (including GDC and D.I.C.E.), developed corporate partnerships to place mentees and host Powered-by-WIGI sessions, and continued to scale virtual and in-person mentorship, training, and networking offerings for underrepresented professionals in games.
