About White Horse Creek Council
White Horse Creek Council is a Colorado-based nonprofit formed to sustain and strengthen First Nations spiritual and cultural practices, land stewardship, and community resilience.
The Council organizes and supports ceremonies, cultural gatherings, educational outreach, and community food/security efforts, working with Indigenous leaders and community partners across the Front Range and beyond.
The organization is led by Indigenous elders and community members and operates as a charitable 501(c)(3) to enable fundraising, grants, and donor support for its programs.

Secured philanthropic grants
Received competitive grant funding to support programmatic and emergency food distribution work.
Sustained Sundance ceremonies
Organized and enabled the Plentywolf/White Horse Sundance gatherings that drew participants from across Turtle Island to practice and renew traditional ceremonies.
Partnered on cultural events
Helped produce Indigenous Peoples Day events and pow wows in the Boulder area, increasing public awareness and cultural education.
