About Colorado Animal Welfare League
Colorado Animal Welfare League (CAWL) is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization founded in 2010 that operates as a foster-based rescue and provider of low-cost mobile spay/neuter services across Colorado.
CAWL runs mobile clinics (the SNOWmobile program), places animals through a foster-to-adopt model, and supports communities with transport, medical assistance, and outreach to reduce pet overpopulation and improve animal welfare.
In recent years CAWL has continued clinic operations and fundraising activity, filing a Form 990-EZ for fiscal year 2023 and receiving foundation and donor grants reported in 2023–2024 to support spay/neuter and clinic work.
