KITTY BUNGALOW (Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats)

Kitty Bungalow operates a specialized “Charm School” for underage, unsocialized, and community (feral) kittens, using fear‑free socialization techniques and a mix of onsite care, foster placements, and volunteer support to transition animals from street life to adoptable pets. As a no‑kill, donor‑facing 501(c)(3) public charity (tax‑exempt since April 1, 2010), the organization works with LA Animal Services, local partners, and volunteers to provide medical care, vaccinations, and adoption outcomes.

The organization provides free TNR services for South Los Angeles community cats, intakes and socializes hundreds of kittens each year, and runs adoption programs and community education to reduce shelter intake and improve long‑term outcomes for cats. In recent years Kitty Bungalow has expanded fundraising and programmatic capacity, operates active online fundraising and recurring giving programs, and continues to report multi‑hundred‑thousand dollar annual revenues and growing net assets consistent with a mid‑sized local animal welfare nonprofit.
