About CHELSEA HUTCHISON FOUNDATION
Founded by Chelsea’s family after her death from SUDEP, the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that funds seizure-response service dogs, daytime and nighttime movement/monitoring devices, weighted comfort items, and family support programs for people living with epilepsy.
The foundation combines direct grants for life‑saving equipment with community education and annual fundraising events (including the STOMP Out Epilepsy & SUDEP walk) to increase SUDEP awareness and expand access to protective technology and resources. In 2023–2024 the organization sustained national programming and local STOMP events that attracted large community participation and raised funds for device and service‑dog grants.
