About MOUNTAINCHILD, INC.
MountainChild is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized to support health, education, clean water, anti-trafficking and other humanitarian programs for children living in remote Himalayan villages.
The organization’s work emphasized partnering with local leaders and organizations to deliver sustainable services (schools, medical support, water projects and programs for marginalized or exploited children).
In June 2024 MountainChild announced it would cease operations effective June 30, 2024, after nearly two decades of program support and transition of responsibilities to local partners.
