TWIN CITIES MAKER INC

Twin Cities Maker is an all-volunteer, donor-supported makerspace located in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis (3119 E. 26th Street). The organization operates a community workshop with departments for woodworking, metalworking, machining, 3D printing/CNC, laser cutting, blacksmithing, and electronics, and offers memberships that provide 24/7 shop access plus regular public open hours and classes.

The group emphasizes low-cost, inclusive access and member-led teaching: community members pay modest dues, volunteer to run the shop, teach classes, and maintain equipment. In the last few years Twin Cities Maker has expanded public-facing programming and partnerships (including hosting outside adult-class providers at its site) and pursued community events such as a proposed Twin Cities Maker Fest to highlight local makers and artists.

Twin Cities Maker is tax-exempt (501(c)(3)) and maintains regular Form 990 filings; recent financials show the organization operating at a modest scale while preserving reserves to support programming, equipment upkeep, and community events.
