About EVERGREEN SUSTAINABILITY ALLIANCE
Evergreen Sustainability Alliance (ESA) is a community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (tax-exempt since 2010) serving Evergreen, Colorado and surrounding foothill communities. ESA runs hands-on programs that reduce waste, increase local composting, and provide low‑waste shopping alternatives.
Key, ongoing programs include a community compost drop-off (residential and commercial), a refill station for household products, and zero-waste event consulting and services. In the past 2–3 years ESA has expanded compost partnerships with local businesses and schools, grown the Refill Station program, and continued outreach and training for local events and organizations.
ESA focuses on practical, small‑scale solutions that build local resilience — offering affordable services, volunteer training, and community events that divert waste from landfill and strengthen regional sustainability capacity.
