About GALLIM DANCE COMPANY INC

Founded in 2007 by choreographer Andrea Miller, GALLIM is a nonprofit interdisciplinary arts organization and contemporary dance company that creates, commissions, and presents new work for stage and film while nurturing early-career artists. GALLIM operates a School of Movement, artist residencies, intensives, and community programs that prioritize accessibility, anti-bias practice, and professional development for dancers and choreographers. In the last 2–3 years the organization has remained active with touring and residency activity (including a May 2025 preview residency at Chautauqua Institution) and a major Joyce Theater season presenting the world premiere of Andrea Miller’s evening-length work "MOTHER" in November 2025; the company continues to run education, residency, and outreach programs alongside fundraising initiatives and public performances.
