About PATIENT ASSISTANCE FDN OF CANCER SPECIALISTS OF NORTH FLORIDA INC

The Patient Assistance Foundation of Cancer Specialists of North Florida (PAF-CSNF) is a 501(c)(3) grant-making foundation established to support adults in North Florida and nearby Georgia counties who are undergoing treatment for cancer or malignant blood disorders. The Foundation provides short-term assistance for necessities such as rent or mortgage, utilities, telephone, transportation and other daily living expenses; it does not pay medical bills, copayments, or credit card debt. PAF-CSNF operates through donations and corporate sponsorships and reports a high program-distribution rate, directing the large majority of funds it receives to patient grants.

PAF-CSNF maintains active nonprofit status in Florida and federal tax-exempt status and works closely with Cancer Specialists of North Florida (its parent practice) and community partners to identify and support eligible patients. In recent years the Foundation has expanded visibility and fundraising through signature events and corporate sponsorships, while continuing to prioritize rapid, short-term financial relief for patients in treatment. The Foundation publishes application and eligibility guidelines and distributes grants based on documented need and residency/treatment criteria.
