About ART DIVISION
Art Division is a Los Angeles–based arts education nonprofit founded in 2010 to provide sustained, professional-level training and college/career support for underserved young adults (primarily ages 18–27) in the Rampart/MacArthur Park area. The organization operates a permanent campus with painting and printmaking studios, a media lab, a public gallery, and a large, curated art library that serves as the intellectual center of its programming. Over its history Art Division has served more than 900 unique young artists and places a strong emphasis on portfolio development, college and career coaching, exhibition experience, and pathway programs that connect students to museum visits, artist studios, and teaching opportunities. In the last 2–3 years the organization has continued active programming and public engagement—launching its first annual fundraising campaign in 2024, marking its 15-year anniversary in 2025, sustaining partnerships with local schools and cultural agencies, and presenting student and faculty exhibitions in Los Angeles venues.
