ART WITH IMPACT

Art With Impact is a San Francisco–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (ruling year 2010) that leverages short film and creative practice to promote mental wellness among high school and college students. The organization designs short film–based workshops and campus programs that pair screenings with facilitated discussion and resource-referral to reduce stigma and increase help-seeking. Art With Impact also runs Voices With Impact, a production-grant program and annual film festival that funds and showcases short films addressing mental health themes, pairing filmmakers with mentors and public screenings (in-person and online). Internal evaluation data reported by the organization shows consistent, measurable participant outcomes (for example, a majority of workshop participants report an increased likelihood of seeking support after participating). In the last 2–3 years Art With Impact has continued its workshops, provided production grants through Voices With Impact (festival activity and on-demand streaming), and maintained national delivery to post-secondary campuses and community audiences while filing regular Form 990 returns to the IRS as an active tax-exempt organization.
