About Common Sense Institute (aka Common Sense Policy Roundtable Forum)

Common Sense Institute (originally founded as Common Sense Policy Roundtable Forum in 2010) is a 501(c)(3) nonpartisan research organization and public policy think tank focused on fiscal and economic analysis at the state level. It operates state-focused centers and publishes research, economic modeling, and commentary intended to inform lawmakers, business leaders, and the public.

CSI produces policy reports, REMI/dynamic economic modeling, podcasts, and public briefings on topics such as state budgets, taxes, workforce, housing, public safety, energy, and ballot measures. The organization has expanded statewide programming and published multiple timely research pieces and budget analyses in the last 2–3 years.
