About EDUCATE TANZANIA INC

Educate Tanzania, Inc. is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 27-4612029) that partners with local leaders and institutions in the Karagwe region of northwestern Tanzania to support education, sustainable agriculture, energy access, and community-driven economic development. The organization is volunteer-led and routes funding and professional expertise to on-the-ground partners, most prominently the Karagwe Diocese and KARUCO (Karagwe University College of Entrepreneurial Agriculture). In recent years ETI has supported KARUCO’s growth (including a multi-cohort graduation program), advanced a solar-power project for the campus, funded COVID-response supplies (including oxygen equipment), and raised capital for a community food-processing (juice) plant to create local income and market opportunities. ETI maintains public annual reports and Form 990 filings and operates an active donor-facing website and outreach program.
